Open Farm visits to the farm are leisurely, self-guided tours, in which each family can choose their own pace during the three hour visiting time. Complimentary hayrack rides are offered (weather permitting) for paid guests. Guests are invited to cross the walking bridge over Southwest Highway, explore our trails, or bring a lunch and enjoy it in our picnic area.

Farm volunteers invite the public into each animal pen and are ready to supply information about the animals to inquiring visitors. Guests are welcome to touch, pet and groom many of our animals. Our barn animals change seasonally but we often have a variety of chickens, ducks, turkeys, rabbits, pigs, goats, cows, sheep, horses, ponies and donkeys.

The Children’s Farm offers a wonderful opportunity for children to experience a real working farm. They see first-hand all the different types of farm animals, how they live, what they eat, how they feel and sound. Your trip to The Children’s Farm  will begin with an hour-long guided tour through our barns.  You will be invited into each animal pen where children will be encouraged to have hands on interaction with our “farm friends.” Following the farm tour, groups will take a scenic hayrack ride around our property. Tours run ‘rain or shine’ as most of our animal area is in a covered building.
