Large 1″ thick Black Walnut slab cutting board. Measures 17″ long by 12″ wide. This large slab of Black Walnut came right from our property here at The Center! For many years, our flagpole hung from this tree. It died in 2017 and we had it rough sawn into 1″ thick cuts. Black Walnut is a prized North American hardwood with beautiful grain and colors of dark browns and golds. It is extremely dense and hard. This cutting board was handcrafted by Pathway, sanded smooth, and leaving the natural bark on the edges. Four non-slip grip pads have been mounted on the underside to hold the board steady and stable on a counter or table.
